Coordinator of Youth Formation Position Filled & Religious Ed Registration OPEN

Parish Family,

Back in June, I emailed the parish announcing Lori Feiler's departure and explaining the changes to our religious education program toward a model that is primarily based on Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for grades PK-4, shifting our grade 5-6 formation to Ignite (a subset of Young Church) with our NET Team on Sunday afternoons, and continuing our middle and high school youth ministry with Young Church on Sunday evenings. Since that time, we have been searching for a new Coordinator of Youth Formation and I'm very happy to announce that Sandi Hootman will be filling this position effective today. Most of you know Sandi as she has been working in our parish front office for the past two years. However, prior to that Sandi provided administrative support for the religious education program for a number of years. Sandi brings with her great experience, a love for the children of St. Patrick, as well as a joyful servant's heart. Sandi will be working very closely with Michelle Rooney as CGS Coordinator, and I am confident that the Holy Spirit will continue to do great things as we grow our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program here at the parish.

Classes will begin mid-September and calendars will be posted on the religious education webpage by the end of this week: St. Patrick Religious Education
